COVID-19 pandemic challenged the command to forsake not the assembling of ourselves together; however, we remained faithful to God’s command and continued to keep our doors open to all who were led to worship in-person. Technology became a big part of keeping those who sheltered in place connected, through the institution of daily noon day prayer, Bible study via ZOOM and live streaming on Facebook Live.
Throughout the years, God has added to the Church as He sees fit. There have been Baby Dedications, Weddings, Baptisms, and Funerals. Deacons and Ministers have been ordained, Trustees have continued to govern, auxiliaries are continuing to serve, but most of all members are committed to the call to: Be a Disciple, Make a Disciple.
